Meeting the Fans
WTF! Okay, I know people think they know me; they've read the book, seen the places on a map and some even been to the city itself, but man, no one knows me. Not now anyway. It is true, I am not the friendliest of authors and there is an issue with drinkling that parents seem to think I need to deal with. Why? Oh, I am supposed to be a role model. Not likely mums and das of the world. Kids do need role models but it might be better for them if these were their actual parents and not some slob who makes a living off people desires to be entertained.
I have a book I am working on, and yes it is a rewriting of Stainless Steel Hammer of God which I hope to have done by the end of the year, so if you want to be notified of when it might be ready then go the contacts page and lodge you email address. The fans do want me to sign stuff and to give speaches at conventions but right now I am happy to see Robert N Stephenson take some of the light, as he was the one who wrote Uttuku, and to be honest he is better with people than I am; way better.
Sarina has gone out, frustrated at the fact I won't until it is way past dark. Like her I have not issues with the light it is just I can get away with more at night and tonight I want to get away with a lot. So, fans, if you see me leaning against a bar, whisky in hand and eye liner smudged, don't ask for an autograph - just warning you... kay!
